Hey guys! How are you? Happy Halloween. . Here’s Hey guys! How are you? Happy Halloween.
.
Here’s my illustration for Halloween.
.
I had lots of fun creating it and I am very happy with the result. I think it turned out very cute.
.
Anyway, I hope you like it.

Hey guys! How are you? It’s been a while… . Lo Hey guys! How are you? It’s been a while…
.
Lots of things have happened, most of them not good so it took a while until I felt well enough to continue sharing my drawing journey.
.
This is my interpretation of Mimi’s club prompt for October, “A Costume Party”.
.
At the beginning I was quite lost as to what to draw. I started the scene with the dragon, who is a firefighter, and then I continue with the kitty, who is dressed as a dragon! Then the connection was made. But it did not work out until I started applying the textures.
.
I like the result. I think both animals look kind of cute together. It is not my best one but progress is being made, though.
.
Anyway, I hope you like it.

Hey guys! How are you? Happy Sunday. . I have a la Hey guys! How are you? Happy Sunday.
.
I have a lazy day today after having worked crazily yesterday for my Spanish fellow citizens so I need to turn to something creative for the sake of my mental health.
.
This little guy is called Morgi and, as you can see, he is getting ready to welcome autumn.
.
He loves to drink tea and wear comfy sweaters.
.
Please say hi to him!
.
Jokes aside, I am trying to draw more “complex” (complex for me, of course) subjects and close-ups before starting to learn how to draw people.
.
I really like how it has turned out. The style is quite “simple” but I like how the head and the antlers ended up looking.
.
Anyway, I hope you like it.

Hey guys! How are you? Happy Thursday. . This is m Hey guys! How are you? Happy Thursday.
.
This is my interpretation of Mimi’s Illustration Club for the August prompt “A Magical Garden”.
.
Halfway through I realized that what I was creating was more of a forest than a garden but at that point I was having so much fun with it that I decided to just let it go and continue with it until the end.
.
The feedback I had in the Patreon Discord channel has me almost in tears. I wouldn’t have thought in a million years I could create illustrations and scenes like these and that people would actually like them. I am greatly surprised and a bit proud of myself.
.
Anyway, I have of course struggled with this one too. The position of the small houses was a real challenge but I am very very happy with the result. I love it.
.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.

Hey guys! How are you? Happy Sunday. . As our summ Hey guys! How are you? Happy Sunday.
.
As our summer here at the north of Germany is basically awful (no sun, no light and it hasn’t stopped raining for weeks), I tend to gravitate towards drawing summery illustrations. In this one, I have recreated an old illustration I did with my pencils for one of my first bullet journals.
.
As I transferred this to digital, I have added some small little friends who are spending the day at the beach whether playing in the sand or staying inside the beach huts.
.
I like the result although I feel there is something missing…but overall I am quite happy with it specially because it feels very playful.
.
Anyway, I hope you like it.

.
Today I choose to share a close-up of a doggie which I have never drawn. It was quite challenging but I am happy with the result. I was expecting it to end up way worst.
.
I have always wanted to have a dog but somehow I have still not managed to have one, so at least I can have a digital pet! Do you have a dog? A cat? A turtle?
.
Anyway, I hope you like it.

Hey guys! How are you? . I have been trying to dra Hey guys! How are you?
.
I have been trying to draw daily and I am being quite consistent with it. One good thing about this is that ideas and scenes come quicker and they used to now that I have done an habit out of drawing. I still have to continue learning techniques and I still have to learn how to draw people among other topics, but time and energy levels are really scarce.
.
Anyhow, this is my interpretation of Mimi’s Illustration Club for the July prompt “A Day at the Beach”.
.
I am very happy with the result although I struggled a lot with the octopus and its tentacles. However, thinking about the objects I wanted to include in the illustration was lots of fun. I am thinking about printing it on a t-shirt, though…

Hey guys! How are you? It’s been a while… . Li Hey guys! How are you? It’s been a while…
.
Life has been keeping me from posting more regularly but I hope I can do it more often. I have been trying to draw daily and most of the weeks I have been successful, but posting my illustrations is another thing…
.
This is my interpretation of Mimi’s Illustration Club for the June prompt “Summer in the Forest”.
.
I had lots of fun drawing it and I think this can also be seen in the final result. I love the color palette and I have enjoyed very much drawing the little friends and imagining what they would be doing in a summer day in the forest where they live.
.
I can see my little progress in every single scene that I finish and I am very proud of myself for being able to create these illustrations. My daily job is the opposite to being creative so drawing is one of the few things which fills me up and prevents me from going crazy certain days.
.
Hope you like it.

Hey guys! Happy Sunday! This is my interpretation Hey guys! Happy Sunday! This is my interpretation of Mimi’s current drawing challenge. The idea is to draw Mimi’s illustration (swipe to see her original illustration) in my own “style” (whatever that is!)
.
To draw the little friend enjoying his drink was a real challenge for me. I am not used to draw bodies especially at angles so it took a while. But somehow I made it!

Anyway, I am very happy with the whole scene and I feel very proud of my progress. Hope you like it too.

Hey guys! Happy Sunday! This is my interpretation Hey guys! Happy Sunday! This is my interpretation of Mimi’s Illustration Club for the May prompt “A Cute Party”.
.
It took me 11 hours to finish this illustration because it contains lots of small drawings. Each of these has several layers of texture applied to such an extent that I ended up running out of layers and having to join some of them together.
.
Anyway, I learn a lot by practising and I am very proud of it. Hope you like it.

Hey guys! Happy Thursday! Well this illustration w Hey guys! Happy Thursday! Well this illustration was somehow quite random. I knew I wanted to draw a crocodile (don’t ask me why, cause I don’t know!). My husband had shown me some weeks ago the IG profile of @artbycleopatra and her lovely #thecoffeebesties so I have tried to make my own version of her lovely illustrations. I hope she doesn’t mind!
.
So this crocodile and this bird are “coffee besties” now and I love the result. It took me a while to finish it as the sketching phase for me is always very complicated as I have never drawn a crocodile before.
.
Anyway, I hope you like it. Take care.

Hey guys! Happy Sunday! This is my interpretation Hey guys! Happy Sunday! This is my interpretation of Mimi’s Illustration Club for the April prompt “Shopping List”.
.
This one has been quite challenging and I am not 100% happy with it. It looks quite flat but I still have to learn how to play with perspectives. However, I like the little rat who is buying cheese, the overall vibes and the colours.
.
Anyway, it is frustrating when you try to draw something and you don’t know how to do it. However I am learning by doing, as they say. Anyway, I am very pleased with my slow progress. Hope you like it.

Hey guys! Yet another illustration. This one I mad Hey guys! Yet another illustration. This one I made some months ago when I started experimenting with textures and layering elements in a composition.

Hey guys! This is my interpretation of Mimi’s Il Hey guys! This is my interpretation of Mimi’s Illustration Club for the February prompt “Favourite Habits”.
.
I’m sure you know I like yoga, and that yoga saved my life during the pandemic, so I decided to draw a cute kitty practicing yoga, and some other small, funny animals watching him.
.
I am completely in love with the result. I am very happy with the textures (again, I feel I am more and more comfortable adding and layering them) and I love the colours. I think they add some calmness and serenity to the whole scene.
